Absolutely. That’s why I include voting in primaries. I’d rather us have 0% hitler. But when the two choices (in practice) are 100% hitler and 99% hitler, I’d still prefer to have 1% less hitler. And it shouldn’t mark someone as 100% hitler to feel that way.
Can you read? I clearly said that I’d rather have 0% hitler. You, and everyone else, has provided no solution to bringing in the zero genocides guy. Until then, this all just validates my point of: this post is a circlejerk to make you feel better.
Voting to stop 1 genocide is a problem? Impact > Intent. If the intent of your vote is to punish some person or party and the impact of that choice is worse, that’s a problem.
This changes everything. When a broken, antihuman ideology and the unstoppable march of time put you on a trajectory of becoming more identical to the nazis with every passing day, what do you do?
Do you face the ugly truth that a bunch of rich pedophiles lied to you as a child about how our world works and used your cooperation to pursue their own agenda, and move forward from there? Or do you retreat into denial, back into the cycle of the addict to delay contact with the cold metal of reality? We, communists, aren’t your enemy. We’re you from the future, and we’re running out of time to bring you to your senses. While you line up to vote for 99% Hitler, both parties shake hands to build a camp for you.
Please elaborate on France. Compare their size and current political climate to the United States (the country I live it) and outline how to accomplish whatever it is you are alluding to within the confines of reality.
The last decade has only proven that the “burn it down” crowd (who are super active online, but don’t show up IRL to vote against fascists) are never going to show up IRL for the revolution.
Fascism cannot be stopped with your vote. Hitler wasn’t elected and he certainly couldn’t be removed by election. This is the same for Mussolini, Petain, Franco, Hirohito, etc. We don’t “show up” IRL to vote against fascism because we recognize it is a ridiculous exercise in futility. We do show up IRL at our political organizations which lead protests against the Palestinian genocide, fascism, ecocide, the illegal blockade of Cuba and so so much more. Not only do we educate people politically and agitate within our workplaces and community spaces, we (attempt to) build lasting parties that materially provide for the communities they rely on. So far we haven’t had great success and overthrown the bourgeois state, that is because things take time and we are faced with both very powerful enemies and a very well conditioned public.
It still shows a complete lack of solidarity with the rest of marginalized people, including those being ethnically cleansed inside the US, and to those being bombed, droned, sanctioned, starved, etc abroad. Sanders is a liberal Zionist, AOC is pro-imperialism in Latin America, and even Mamdani conceded a lot of nonsense to the right, even agreeing with gusanos that Cuba and Venezuela are dictatorships, doing his part in normalizing the atrocities we see now there by the US government. Mamdani is the best of the bunch by far and he’s still bad to us.

So you’d vote for genocide as long as the other guy was gonna do 2 genocides?
And you don’t see the problem with this?

Can you read? Overthrow your fascist pedophilic rapist terrorist colonizer owners, lol.
Oh wait the treat supply is still too good to fucking go outside.

Okay, next round it’s 2 genocides or 3 genocides. You don’t want to let an extra genocide happen, right? Better support the lesser evil!
Next round is 3 genocides vs 4 genocides
This changes nothing. When you have the choice to prevent 1 genocide or not prevent it at all, what would you do?

Look at the French.

Please riot and form a new government.
If the result of your vote is a genocide it’s time to think about the ethics of the continuation of your country.
My country isn’t ethical. I don’t even need to think about that. Still not going to use my vote to let MORE genocide happen.
Yeah that’s obviously not in question. It’s unethical to continue to support the country and not start burning it all down lol.
The last decade has only proven that the “burn it down” crowd (who are super active online, but don’t show up IRL to vote against fascists) are never going to show up IRL for the revolution.
Still too much bread and circuses!

So you’re not voting for democrats?
“If we’re going to have Hitler, I’d rather the Hitler that preserves the long term stability and power of the Reich”
Trolley-problem-ass poster. So fucking embarrassing.
For everyone else, dialectical materialism.

All three of those politicians are Zionists btw.
yup
