Ente gives you 10GB of storage for free so you have nothing to lose if you check it out. I used the free tier for photo backups and looks very similar to google photos.

So far have tried it out for a week and liking it. Simple to use UI as well, and of course the generous storage. Something I think is more useful is that it allows me to have a full on password while what I’m currently using for backing up photos (Proton Drive) only has “Biometrics or PIN” (wished Biometrics and PIN were separate).
