The burrow into our follicles and live on the oils we excrete. They come out at night to mate. On our faces. They are microscopic and mostly harmless though.

My eye doctor actually had to give me eye drops to clear them up a bit The little crusties you get when you sleep. Got so bad that I couldn’t open my eyes in the morning Since taking eye drops to clear out the demodex and doing a bunch of eye hygiene, I now have almost no crusties in the morning
