Its to not film secret equipment, people, methods, places, etc. has nothing to do with corruption. Any army that respects itself does the same.

IDF is asking for censor approval for all reporting. This has nothing to do with secret information or hiding OSINT.

A good army doesn’t need to pressure international media under the guise of military secrecy because a good army would keep its assets hidden.

The US army doesn’t go around asking news groups to alter reporting for any reason. If any military info leaked, then it’s a huge deal and it gets published. Last notable incident being Snowden.

Even when Destin from smarter every day was called to film on a us submarine has clearley said that all footage was sent for approval before he could publish or edit them. For the exact same reason.
