Iran’s exports in March remained close to pre-war levels — about 1.6 million barrels per day.
Tankers with Iranian oil continue to be loaded at the Kharg terminal and exit the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, oil prices have risen, and the discount on Iranian oil relative to the international benchmark Brent has dropped to $2.10 per barrel — this is the lowest level in almost a year.
Iran has likely earned hundreds of millions of dollars in additional revenue from oil sales since the beginning of the war.
